Tiny Virtuosos proudly presented an astonishingly accurate and, in the truest sense of the word, timeless rendition of "Back to the Future" on the big stage. Our dedicated cast of toddlers brought the immortal iconic piece to life with the charm of childhood and unparalleled accuracy.
The famous time machine, the DeLorean, has been meticulously replicated - of course slightly adapted to the size of our young actors.
With diapers in his jeans and bib vest, our little Marty portrayed the iconic role with a finesse that is second to none. Our Doc Brown, on the other hand, with a wild shock of white wool hair and a pair of small goggles, ran, lamented and gesticulated with an energy that astonished the audience.
The dramatic plot remained almost unchanged, with the small cast fearlessly confronting the villain Biff and correcting the timeline to prevent a catastrophic future.
Marty's iconic worry that his parents might never meet and the tension over whether the DeLorean on stage would accelerate fast enough to reach the required 88 miles per hour merged with the question of whether all of our young performers would would manage to stay awake until the end of the show.
Bottom line, Tiny Virtuosos' "Back to the Future" delivered a humorous, heartwarming and powerful experience that combined the brilliant simplicity of a child's performance with the complexity of an adult classic.
